Tennessee is a treasure trove of natural beauty, especially during the fall when the landscape transforms into a vibrant tapestry of colors. The Smoky Mountains, with their rolling hills and breathtaking vistas, provide a stunning backdrop for my artistic exploration. As the leaves change from lush greens to brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows, I find myself inspired to capture this seasonal spectacle on canvas.

As an artist, I find immense inspiration in the ever-changing beauty of the sea. My journey into oil painting has led me to explore seascapes, where the dynamic interplay of light, water, and sky creates a captivating subject.

Living part-time on Fripp Island has deepened my appreciation for coastal landscapes. The vibrant colors of the ocean, the gentle waves, and the soft hues of the sky at sunset all beckon me to capture their essence on canvas. Each painting becomes a reflection of my experiences by the shore, evoking the tranquility and beauty of the low country.

As an artist, I find immense joy in capturing the beauty of the world around us, and one of my favorite subjects to paint is birds. My journey into oil painting has been a transformative experience, allowing me to express my love for nature and the enchanting creatures that inhabit it. Today, I want to share my passion for painting birds and the inspiration behind my work.
